Mikka (b. 1998, Zimbabwe) is a painter based between Cape Town and Jerusalem, where she studied at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. Inspired by the landscapes and wildlife of Southern Africa, her work moves between fantasy and reality.
Her paintings explore connection, vulnerability, humour, mythology and nature. Through vibrant colour and detailed compositions, Mikka creates imagined worlds where figures, animals and environments intertwine.
